In March of 2002, Ricks sold Worldwide Nutritional Sciences to Nu Skin Enterprises. This sale resulted in NSE being the owner of worldwide license rights to the Bio-Photonic Scanner, a new device that allowed for the non-invasive testing of antioxidants in living human tissue for the first time ever. Ricks is now engaged in the worldwide rollout of this technology. This technology has been featured in CNN/Money, on CBS Marketwatch.com, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNBC Asia and the Wallstreet Journal in the last 3 years. From 2000 to the present, Ricks has engaged in the business of Real Estate Acquisition, Development & Management. He is currently an Owner/Partner of Canyon Park Technology Center (canyonparkutah.com) in Orem, UT, one of the largest multi-tenant office complexes in the US with over 1000000 Square Feet of space. In Salt Lake City, Ricks is an Owner/Partner in Millrock Park (millrock.net), a 490000 Square foot campus of Class A office space. Millrock is currently under development. Ricks has participated in the development of large scale housing projects in Nevada and Utah.From 1998 to the present, Ricks has been a Presidential Director of Big Planet, Inc., a technology portal and electronic commerce ISP. Ricks, as a founder of Big Planet, organized and developed marketing strategies for Big Planet that have been implemented in the USA.
